Hello! I'm so glad you're here! I believe it is important for us to get to know each other so we can make some beautiful things happen!

 

I was that friend in high school who took all the pictures, dropping off the film rolls at Rite Aide to be developed, and then plastering my bedroom wall in collages or making scrapbooks and albums. Little did I know, when I splurged on my first "expensive" camera from Sears, something would finally click (get it?) and I've never stopped learning, snapping, and growing.

As I've gotten older, I am continuously reminded of the importance of photos in preserving our history. Through milestones, the loss of loved ones, and the growth of my own little family, I see how valuable it is to be able to document and share photographs along the way. Whether I’m showing my children photos of family members they never had the chance to meet, or getting weepy at their baby photos, or looking back on our past adventures, it is clear that we truly never know how treasured a captured moment may be. I carry this same steadfast belief of photography from my personal life into my work.

In addition to being a photographer, I'm a wife, a mother to Lincoln and Emilia, and I work full time in the child welfare system. I'm a strong advocate for foster care and adoption, and am lucky enough to also volunteer to photograph children and youth in need of permanent families. Because I work full time, I do limit the number of weddings and sessions I take per year so I can ensure the best full client experience for you! 

 

In whatever remaining time I have, you can find me obsessing over our Ragdoll cat, Lucy, at a concert, traveling, DIYing something, attempting to learn a new hobby, or working on the endless list of house projects I've written up!
